Scott is in the ICU

Well, I just spent the past hour or so in the ICU holding Scott's hand. That seems to be a better comfort to him than even the morphine. He looks great. He smiles when he sees his family and is relieved that the first stage in the fight of the tumor is over. He is, of course, sleeping a lot but can communicate his thoughts when he needs to. He should be in the ICU until sometime tomorrow, pending his progress. The pathologist is analyzing the tumor and we should know some initial thoughts on that sometime next Tuesday. That's it for now, I'll update again sometime tomorrow and let you know if he is moving out of the Neuro ICU.

Thanks for all the prayers...looked like it worked :)

Dear Julie and Scott's Family, Hank and I will keep Scott and his family in our prayers. We know the overwhelming effort it takes to cope with all the outpouring of love. My father has had two brain tumors over the last 10 years. It is a long and difficult process, but with positive results. My father has no memory of the process. The family has many more difficulty with the memories of the process. Our prayers are with you. Love, Barbara Brubaker and Henry Kent-Smith
