Summer Update on Scott

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!  We have been busy with the kids' swim team, camps, and such - it is a fun summer so far!  I know it has been a while since I wrote to all of you to update you on Scott so here it is:

Scott continues to heal from the last surgery.  His surgeon put him on antibiotics a week ago to treat a couple of small spots along the incision line that appear to be like the stitch abscesses that he had back in the beginning of the year from the November surgery.  Should be nothing to worry about but will just take some time to clear up completely.  We'll see his surgeon again next week to check on the progress of that.  Once the infection is all cleared, Scott will resume his chemotherapy.  We are off to Nantucket a week from Sunday so he won't start chemotherapy until after vacation anyway. :)

His next scan will be sometime in September so you can all start saying prayers for that now!
