Pulmonary Embolism

Unfortunately Scott also has blood clots in his lungs (travelled from the legs) so the docs are keeping him longer in the hospital so this can be stabilized before he goes home.  He is receiving lovanox injections in the hospital and will continue them when he is able to come home for months to come to treat the clots.

My heart aches for him, for our family, for our life.  A cure for cancer is what I want for Christmas and not just for Scott but for all those fighting cancer.

 Kudos to Scotts doctor who was not only cautious as we explained new symptoms but also so thorough in his plan for admitting Scott to the hospital for testing.  I am so thankful that we discovered this now and not as a result of a heart attack on Christmas Day --- hopefully we will have him home for Christmas.
