MRI Today-Dr. Gruber said "GREAT Scan!"

Hi Everyone--Scott here,
We met with Dr. Gruber, the neuro-oncologist, this morning and he said that the MRIs taken today looked "great" and "clear". We were so relieved and happy. Dr. Gruber indicated that the patients with the best positive attitude are the ones that do the best. He said that I seem to be doing great and could be a patient who beats the stats. You all know that I don't believe in stats and I will always be postive. My drs have indicated that I have all the good factors on my side, I am young, had a great surgery, and have responded well to treatment so far.

We are meeting with the surgeon (Dr. Beyerl) next week to discuss these MRIs and the thoughts of Dr. Gruber.

I start the fifth round of this chemo tonight. This is the second to last round. I'll have one more round in May and that is the end of the planned chemo! Yeah! I will continue to have MRI scans every 2 months for a year and then every 3 months for a year, then every 4 months for a year, etc. , etc. Basically, the drs track you forever. At least they are keeping a close eye on me, right?

I will keep you all up to date with progress. Thanks again for all your prayers, thoughts, support and POSITIVE energy.

Much Love,
Scott
