We found out today that Scott has a new brain tumor that is still small (about the size of a raisin) but growing rapidly. The surgeon thinks it is probably a glioblastoma (grade 4) but we will know for sure after surgery. After given a couple of options, we have chosen to have surgery again because it gives the best prognosis. We don't know when it will be yet but we are hoping for next week. We told the kids tonight and tried to be reassuring to them. We'll post updates here as we know them ourselves. Thanks for all your support!
We love you guys so much and all of our thoughts and prayers are with you...

ReplyDeleteFirst, thank you all for the kind comments. I am very confident in our team (the medical and the personal) - it is an amazing team.
You people really overwhelm us and we appreciate it so much. We put this message out on Thurs. By Sat we learned that team members have dinners planned for two months and have landscaping and cleaning services scheduled. Really people?! You are amazing me.
Keep those positive thoughts and prayers coming our way. They worked 5 years ago and they will work now.
I'll be back blogging to you.
Much love.
Scott
