Visit to Santa

It has been a typical busy week (typical is good!).  Scott and I went to the surgeon's office yesterday and had the staples removed.  The incision looks good and is healing well - yeah!  They haven't cleared him to drive yet because we only saw the nurse but in my professional opinion, he's ready.  The doctors usually listen to me anyway (scary, huh?)!

After the kids were finished with their homework and Scott finished his work day yesterday, we decided to go to the mall and visit Santa since we still hadn't sent him the letters yet.  I thought the line would be short since most of the kids have seen Santa already but that proved to be wrong!  He was worth the wait...check out the picture below:
