Happy New Year 2012!

Happy New Year 2012!  I know that greeting comes a week late but that's how life goes sometimes!  Scott is doing well, he has had a little drainage from the incision site this week but after consulting almost all of his docs, we are confident that it is just on the surface and caused by internal stitches that were used to stitch up the layers under the skin.  Scott will remain on antibiotics until Tuesday (that will be exactly 6 weeks from surgery).  If there is no drainage in the week following, we will all be able to relax and know that the infection is cleared.  We'll see more docs on Thursday after his MRI and we will update again after that.  Say some prayers for a good looking scan!!
