Comedy Benefit May 11th

If you are local or are up for a drive, a wonderful neighborhood friend (and comedian), Kim Jonny, has organized a Stand-Up Comedy Benefit  Night to raise money for Voices Against Brain Cancer to help find a cure for Scott's Cancer and we'd love you to JOIN US!  It will take place on:

Date: Friday, May 11th

Place: The Crossroads, 78 North Avenue, Garwood, NJ

Time: 6:30 seating

Cost: $20

Scott and I will be going and looking forward to a night of laughter and fun with friends.  We would love everyone and anyone to join us!! (adults only).  If you'd like to eat dinner during the show, you can make reservations by calling 917-670-7020.  Kim has told me that there will be live music following the comedy show so keep that in mind --- dancing, maybe???  

I have a supply of tickets at my house if you'd like to purchase them ahead of time and Kim also has them.  But you can also buy them at the door on the night of the event.  

Scott is doing great.  Last month we met with his surgeon who suggested doing surgery to insert a fabricated bone flap to protect his skull a little sooner than we had anticipated.  After discussing him with the tumor board, the doctors think that, as long as his platelet counts stays stable, they may do his surgery in June in between chemo rounds.  This was good news!

Hope everyone has been enjoying the great spring weather!  We are off to have lunch today with new friends that we met through the Voices Against Brain Cancer walk in December.  These families also have Dads who are battling brain cancer.   It's all about enjoying life and being together!  Go make some memories today! :)
