Scott had an MRI this week and it showed some increased enhancement on the scan. Because of this, we are going to be changing treatments and we are currently researching our treatment options, again.
We have seen his oncologist at Overlook, an oncologist at MSK and spoke with our 2nd opinion oncologist at Dana Farber in Boston. We are researching options for different chemo therapies or other drugs, or possible surgery to gather more information about the enhanced area on the scan.
Please keep Scott in your prayers and positive thoughts/vibes. We have been here before and we'll keep moving forward making the hard decisions and thinking optimistically.
Just a reminder, our Spoerl Brainstormer team will be walking a week from Sunday in Central Park to raise money to find a cure for brain cancer. The money raised by this organization is used to fund research to find new treatments to prolong survival and ultimately find a cure.
