Time Flies!

Wow!  It is already the middle of January of 2016 - how time flies!  The New Year has been good so far -- no unexpected trips to doctors or hospitals so that is great.  Scott will have an MRI next Monday the 25th and then we will determine the treatment to follow.    For now, he has discontinued using the Avastin chemotherapy because of all the clotting/bleeding issues.  I continue to give him one blood thinner shot a day for the clots and we will check in with that doctor also on the 25th.  If all goes well, he will take his next dose of the CCNU chemotherapy next week after the MRI.

Scott's Dad, Ron, has been staying with us since the beginning of November to help out with Scott which has been great.  They enjoy watching lots of sports together - football and now basketball too.  Scott's Mom continues to help out taking him to PT and speech and other regular check-ups with docs so that I can be at work.

That's about it I guess.  I'm enjoying the normalcy and routine of each day in this New Year.  :)

Have a great week!

xoxo,
Julie
